About Matilda Wissner, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Matilda Wissner is a highly experienced audiologist and hearing healthcare leader with over two decades of clinical expertise in diagnostic audiology, advanced hearing technology, and patient-centered care.

She earned her Doctorate of Audiology from A.T. Still University and holds a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences from Hunter College. Dr. Wissner is a licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser in New York State and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Wissner has worked across leading medical institutions, ENT practices, and academic settings throughout New York. Her clinical expertise includes comprehensive audiologic evaluations, hearing aid fitting and verification, auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing, otoacoustic emissions (OAE), and central auditory processing assessments. She has particular experience managing complex cases and delivering individualized hearing solutions that improve communication, confidence, and overall quality of life.

Most recently, Dr. Wissner served as Audiology Manager at Weill Cornell Medicine, where she oversaw clinical operations while providing comprehensive hearing care to both adult and pediatric patients.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Wissner has served as a clinical supervisor, mentoring doctoral students in audiology and contributing to the training of the next generation of audiologists. Her approach combines advanced technology with a highly personalized, compassionate model of care.

Dr. Wissner is fluent in Italian and conversational in Spanish, allowing her to effectively serve a diverse patient population. She is committed to delivering a seamless, high-touch patient experience within an integrated ENT and audiology care model.
